They offer customers a variety of products designed to decorate their homes and
outfit their kitchens with style. There are various home décor items such as
baskets, vases, figurines, clocks, small tables. In the Dining & Entertaining
section, customers will find a vast array of dinnerware, serving pieces,
entertaining pieces, and canister sets. There is also a selection of items for
the patio and garden. Home and Garden Party was founded on Christian principals,
so some of the items have a Christian theme.
Home and Garden designers start with a 30% commission and have the opportunity
to earn as much as 40% if they start their own organization. There are bonuses
for sponsoring a downline and incentives, such as free trips, products, and even
a Mercedes-Benz or PT Cruiser. Designers can choose one of four sample kits to
start their businesses. The Floral and Veranda kits are $99 and contain $200
worth of products. The Tuscan and Welcome Home kits are $149 and contain $300
worth of products. The company offers flexibility with a guaranteed one year
buy-back option if a designer decides to leave the business. They also do not
require sales quotas for designers. Minimum quotas are required, however, in
order for designers to receive bonus payments from their downlines.
