high for something you can do out of a home

high end computer that can handle the
graphic design software you are using in it.
As well, you need high end graphic design
software, and a great printer. This is going

Schooling and books will also be a lot of
money, and you can easily add another
$30,000 on top of the $10,000 for the
equipment. No one said that being a graphic
designer was cheap, but once you have the
business and clients, few jobs pay more.
How to Market It
Not only should you advertise in the
newspaper, but you can also market yourself
directly to the companies. Show them
examples of your work, because in this type
of career, your portfolio is the most
important thing that you have. When
potential clients can see exactly what you
can do, they will be more keen on offering
you a contract to do some work for them.
Having a website that markets your company
and your services will be a great way to get
your name out into the world as well.
